Downpatrick FC are inviting their members and supporters to a meeting in Murphy’s Bar on Monday 10xa0February at 7.30pm to help have an input in the clubs continued development on and off the pitch. The committee see this open meeting as the perfect opportunity to get an input from their members on how they would like to see the club progress writes Tony McShane.xa0dn_screen

The club would like to thank all those who supported us on Saturday night in Murphy’s Bar for the brilliant Untouchables, it was a brilliant night. Keep an eye on these notes for further announcements on future bands.

The first team travel to Larne this Saturday to play Wellington Rec, the players will be hoping for more luck this week having not had a game in three weeks. The seconds team entertain Newcastle 2nds at home. Both games are in the league andxa0 kick off at 2.00pm

Boxing training continues to gather pace as the boxers are put through their places by the coaches in Pegasus Boxing Club, anyone looking to fight can still join the training. The training is on Tuesdays and Thursday 8- 9.00pm and on Sundays 1.30pm -2.30pm.

We are still looking for male &and female contestants to take part in our fantastic show ‘TAKE ME OUT‘ in Murphy’s Bar xa0on Saturday 8 February… anyone interested can contact a committee member.

The ladies team pre-season training continues on Monday and Wednesdays, at Tel’s Fitness Studio starting at 7.15pm… all old and new members are welcome.
