Downpatrick Beaver Scouts Win A Bel Tent

The Beaver scouts were all smiles with Scouters Denise Pyper (leader of the Downpatrick Beaver Scouts) and Louise Rooney, who won the Bel tent for the scouts as part of The Big Lunch’s Youth Got Community Spirit Competition last year) were awarded a £50 food and materials voucher at their Fly Your Kite event, to help kick-start their first Big Lunch.

Over 200 communities across Northern Ireland have registered for the Big Lunch 2018 and will be taking to their streets onxa0Sunday the 3rd of Junexa0for a day of food and craic with neighbours.

There are a handful of £50 vouchers remaining for first time Big Lunch organisers so get your Big Lunch registered soon! If you register before the 19xa0April, you might also win a surprise visit from The Gruffalo. Seexa0The Big Lunch Northern Irelandxa0on facebook for more details.
