Down U-14 Camogs Wrap Up Their Season By Roisin Rogers The Down U-14 Camogs travelled to Dublin last Saturday (10^th September 2011) to take part in an U14/15 Intercounty Blitz before wrapping up their 2011 season.xa0 The blitz was hosted by Dublin Club, Craobh Chiarain, and the Counties which took part were Antrim, Clare, Down, Dublin, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick and Wexford. [caption id="attachment_28131" align="alignleft" width="400" caption="The Down U-14 team."][/caption] The Down girls gave a great account of themselves throughout the day and displayed some very skilful camogie.xa0 The only game they lost was to Galway and their efforts were rewarded when they finished joint runners-up in their group with Antrim. This was a great finish to the season for the girls and a great experience for them to participate with teams from all over Ireland.xa0 Many thanks to the organisers for such an enjoyable day.
