Down Business Connect Invites Local Businesses To Open Morning

Local networking group, Down Business Connect, is inviting businesses in the Down area to join its first Opening Morning where they can meet existing members of the networking group and find out how Down Business Connect can benefit their business.

Formed by like-minded business men and women in the Down area, the Down Business Connect Group meets fortnightly and is comprised of members across a broad range of sectors who come together to meet, make new contacts and share business advice and expertise. To date, the Group has generated approximately £50,000 of direct sales for members, with valuable new contacts made and many more new business leads in the pipeline.

Taking place at Denvir’s Hotel, Downpatrick on Tuesday 23rd February, the Open Morning aims to attract more members to the Group, increasing the size of the network and therefore opportunities for growth for its members. This, in turn, will strengthen the Group, helping with the economic growth of businesses in the Down District.

With only one member per sector, the Group is hoping to add a number of different professions to the network, including an Architect, Web Designer, Printer, Solicitor and a Training Provider amongst others.

Brendan Kearney, Chairperson, of Down Business Connect said: “Down Business Connect was established to provide a supportive network of contacts and opportunities for business growth for local businesses. Our Group is already proving to be advantageous for members, and real business is being done, as well as invaluable connections being made.

“With only one company represented per sector, there’s huge potential for learnings and growing members’ businesses, therefore we would encourage any local business people who want to explore new avenues for business growth to come to the Open Morning.”

At the Down Business Connect open morning on Tuesday, 23rd, guests will find out more about what Down Business Connect can do for their business and they’ll have a chance to meet members, and hear first-hand how the Group benefits their businesses.

Current members of Down Business Connect include: Caprica Healthcare, Down News, First Trust Bank, Homecare Systems, The Horatio Group, Kelly Solutions, McMahon People Solutions, Peter Fitzpatrick & Sons Estate Agents, McGrady Financial Services, McGrady Insurance, M.B.
