Doran Welcomes Work To Solve Ballymartin Sewage Issues

Cllr Doran commented:xa0“I want to welcome the news that planning approval has been obtained and the new line has been agreed, this is great news for the people of Ballymartin as the sewage system has been totally inadequate for years, often leading to raw sewage running on to the beach, causing both an environmental and health hazard for everyone in the area. “It is my understanding that a contractor has been appointed, a detailed design is being finalised and NI Water expects the contractor to be on site by the end of the year. Hopefully this will be a permanent solution to the sewage problems which currently exist in Ballymartin.”]]>
