Don’t Miss The Local Capacity Building Workshops

The Downpatrick DEA forum is promoting two information sessions vital as building solid foundations for healthy community development and all local groups are invited to participate. Training will be delivered by the County Down Rural Community Network.

Capacity building workshops to cover the topics of governance ie establishing a group, constituting it correctly, attracting new members etc and the other will cover event management and risk assessment to protect groups who plan on running projects that will involve members of the public from an insurance perspective.

The training is being undertaken by County Down Rural Community Network so it will be professionally delivered and extremely relevant to all groups within both the DEA areas.

The two dates identified are as follows:-

21 March 2017 at 7.00 p.m. in Dan Rice Hall Drumaness.

29 March 2017 at 7.00 p.m. in Ballymote Community Hall, Killough Road, Downpatrick (above Supervalu in the Ballymote shopping complex).
