Donkey Foal Stolen Near Newry Off Rathfriland Road

Police are investigating the theft of a donkey foal in the Rathfriland Road area of Newry.

It was reported that sometime between 9pm on Monday 18th May and 5pm on Tuesday 19th May the young animal had been taken from a yard in the area.

Sergeant Willis said: “The foal is just 10 days old and needs support from its mother.”

“I am urging anyone with any information which may assist with our enquiries to contact police in Newry on 101 quoting reference 2040 of 19/05/20.

Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
