Donard Fundraising Group Continue To Make A Difference Locally

THE dynamic Donard Fundraising Group who were recent winners at the Down District Chairman’s special awards ceremony, have presented a £500 donation to Mind Your Mate and Yourself (MYMY), a County Down mental health suicide, prevention charity. On Saturday 19 April 2014, at the Cunningham residence in Castlewellan, the Donard Fundraising Group’s chairman Paul Madden and some of the group’s volunteers were absolutely delighted to spring a surprise of a £500 cheque to Mind Your Mate And Yourself (MYMY) during its extremely successful MYMY Coffee Morning in Castlewellan.

Paul said: “Amid aromatic cups of coffee, tasty treats, children’s bouncy castles, music and hundreds of people enjoying all kinds of craic, friendship and camaraderie, nothing gave the Donard Fundraising Group more pleasure when enjoying all of the brilliant MYMY hospitality, than to make its £500 donation to this fantastic organisation during such a wonderful event.

“The Donard Fundraising Group are humbled to try and do everything that we possibly can to help MYMY continue their vital and sterling work, because it is cause which is extremely dear and close to our hearts.
