Detectives Seek Info On Local Burglaries


Detectives in Ardmore are appealing for witnesses and information following five burglaries in the Hilltown, Rathfriland and Dundrum areas on Saturday 29 June.

Police are appealing for information on burglaries in Dundrum, Rathfriland and Hilltown.

Detective Constable Kenny said: “The incidents occurred at both commercial and private premises in the Rathfriland Road area of Hilltown, Drumlough Road and Caddells Lane area of Rathfriland and Church Avenue Dundrum in the late evening of 29 June into the early hours of 30 June 2019. Entry was gained to each of the premises with significant damage being caused. A sum of money, tools and a Bronze Citroen C4 vehicle – registration mark XKZ 6051 were taken.

We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or have seen the Bronze Citroen C4 car to contact detectives at Ardmore station on 101 quoting CCS reference 736 of 30/06/19.
