Crossgar Off Licence Knife Robber Flees in Panic

Detectives in Downpatrick are investigating an attempted armed robbery of licensed premises on the Downpatrick Road, Crossgar on Saturday 11th May 2013.dn_screen

Aroundxa03pmxa0a man armed with a knife entered the premises and approached a female member of staff.xa0 The lady screamed for help and the male ran off empty-handed.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is asked to contact detectives at Downpatrick on 0845 600 8000.xa0 Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
