Creeper Burglars Strikes In Dromara

dn_screenPolice are appealing for information following a creeper style burglary in Dromara.

Detective Sgt. Melanie McGrory said: “It was reported that shortly before 9.42pm last night (Wednesday, January 4th), three males entered the rear of a property in the Meadow Lane area of Dromara, and took a set of car keys. But before they could steal the vehicle, they were however disturbed and drove off in a silver VW Golf.

“The house was occupied at the time. We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact Police at Lisburn Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1072 of 4.1.17.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
