SPORTS ORGANISATIONS _ NOTE:

A spokesperson for Newry Mourne and Down District Council said that “council has been tasked to review the full impact from the flooding which took place in our district last week, which includes private and public sector facilities.

“Consequently, we are reaching out to our sports community to see if any short- or long-term damage was caused to their own sports facilities.

“As a result, can you respond to this email address with your club details and related damage please.

“While we appreciate the short notice, we are requesting this information early Monday afternoon.”
