Council Seniors’ Summer Scheme for Senior Citizens Begins
The first event in Newry Mourne and Down District Council’s summer scheme for senior citizens, organised by its District Electoral Areas (DEA) Forums, was held at Newcastle Community Cinema.
There there was an opportunity to discover the history of the Mournes through the years, viewing archive footage and listening to an engaging historical talk on Newcastle harbour.
A number of Council partners are supporting the summer initiative.
