Cllr Michael Savage thanks charity ball sponsors

Newry Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Councillor Michael Savage has thanked each of the sponsors for the contributions and support which they have made towards his fundraising Charity Ball which will take place on Friday 3 February 2023 in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry.

Councillor Michael Savage said: “I would like to extend my sincere thanks to each of the sponsors Regen Waste Ltd, Norbrook, Keltbray and EDB Developments for their invaluable financial support.

“And thanks to the Canal Court Hotel for their generous in-kind support, all of which will help towards supporting my Chairperson’s Charity Ball.

“The event aims to raise vital funds for the four charities which I have chosen to support this year during my time in office.

“These are: the Southern Area Hospice; Society of Saint Vincent De Paul; the Simon Community; and Suicide Down to Zero.”

Guests will be welcomed on arrival with a sparkling drinks reception before being invited to enjoy a delicious gala dinner. Throughout this fabulous evening there will be an incredible array of performances provided by local musicians topped by the fantastic Sugartown Road Band.
