Could Your Local Win Hospitality Ulster Awards?

Hospitality Ulster Unveils New Top 100 Hospitality Businesses Awards.

Building on the success of the Pub of the Year Awards, Hospitality Ulster launched The Top 100 Hospitality Businesses Awards in Belfast on Wednesday 27 September.

The awards, launched at the Merchant Hotel, recognise the increasing quality, diversity and regional spread of Northern Ireland’s great pubs, bars, café bars, hotels and restaurants.

Through nomination, rather than application, the awards will recognise the Top 100 Hospitality Businesses, who through their premises, staff and product, offer and encompass the very essence of our unique hospitality industry.

Colin Neill, Chief Executive of Hospitality Ulster, David Meade, Mentalist, and Mark Stewart, Chairman of Hospitality Ulster at the Inaugural Launch of Hospitality Ulster’s Top 100 Hospitality Businesses Awards at the Merchant Hotel, Belfast.

The nominated establishments will all go the extra mile to deliver a great customer experience that matches both their target market and customer demographic.

Colin Neill, Chief Executive Officer of Hospitality Ulster, said: “We’re excited to launch our new awards to recognise the individual hospitality businesses across the province and celebrate all that is great about our Hospitality industry.

“What’s more, nominations could not be simpler and anyone can nominate the premises they feel deserves the recognition, and indeed you can even self-nominate.

“All you have to do is tell us a little bit about why your chosen premises deserves to be included in The Top 100 Hospitality Businesses for 2018.

“Nominations can be made through Hospitality Ulster’s website. And for the modest amongst you, we have also established an industry panel to seek you out and nominate on your behalf. With a final vote from the industry peers selecting the Top 100 premises.’’

And to highlight the fact that the awards celebrate the champions of Northern Ireland’s hospitality industry, the FA Cup went on display on the night. The FA Cup is the most iconic of winners’ trophies and the Top 100 Hospitality Businesses Awards recognise the best of the dynamic and diverse hospitality sector in NI.

Nominations fall into the categories of Rural Pub, Urban Pub and City Pub. Plus Casual and Formal Restaurant and last but not least, Hotels.

The Top 100 premises will celebrate their listing early next year at a star studded gala night showcasing some of our best food, drink.
