Comber Parades Likely To Cause Some Traffic Disruption

Traffic disruption likely on Saturday 25th May due to parades in Comber

The Twelfth celebrations are on their way and Comber will see bands practising on Saturday evening and this will likely cause some traffic disruption.

Road users are being advised to anticipate traffic disruption in Comber this Saturday evening, 25th May, due to planned parades.

The first small parade will begin at 6.30pm, starting at Comber Orange Hall and make its way around the town before finishing at 7.15pm, back at the same Orange Hall.

The main parade will then begin at 7.30pm on the Old Belfast Road towards Mill Street – Comber Square – Newtownards Road – High Street – Railway Street and back to the Orange Hall, to finish at approximately 10.30pm.

Please be advised the town will be busy and smaller roads around the areas mentioned will be impacted, due to numbers participating and spectators expected.

Local officers will be on the ground to accommodate the flow of traffic.

But to avoid potential delays, please seek an alternative route for your journey where possible.
