Mournes Councillor Willie Clarke has welcomed the installation of new bins in Annalong.

Cllrxa0Clarkexa0said: “I am delighted that new bins have been installed in Annalong.

Residents have raised the issue of the lack of bins in the village with me in the past.

“The new bins will help reduce the amount of litter and dog fouling in the area, as the bin can be used for both waste streams.”

Cllrxa0Clarkexa0added: “We are trying to grow the amount of visitors to the Mournes.

“Basic services including quality bins will help create a clean environment which will encourage a greater pride in our open spaces.”
