Clarke Welcomes Double Glazing Start Date in Dundrum

ALLIANCE Party Newcastle Councillor Patrick Clarke has welcomed confirmation from the Housing Executive that the long-awaited replacement double glazing scheme to replace single pane glazing windows in Church Avenue and Church Close Dundrum will be finally completed between 18-25 January.
Councillor Patrick Clarke said: “I welcome this news. I have been lobbying the NIHE for some time to prioritise Church Avenue in particular due to the age of the properties and also Church Close Dundrum to have the single pane windows upgraded.
“With the commitment given by the NIHE last year to double glaze all housing executive properties across Northern Ireland, there had been a continued deferral of installation dates at these sites in Dundrum.”
