Christmas Lights Switch On In Ards On Friday 29th November

Christmas is coming to Newtownards with the official Christmas tree lights ‘Switch On’ event kicking off the festive season on Friday 29^thxa0November.

Residents are invited to join the Mayor of Ards, Councillor Stephen McIlveen, and DJ Pete Snodden with the Cool FM Roadshow, for what is sure to be one of the one of the highlights of the Christmas celebrations in Newtownards.

A great night out for all the family, the line-up for this fantastically festive evening includes a children’s lantern parade to the Square from Ards Arena led by the Friendship Band, live music with Perfect Strangers, carols from the One Voice Community Choir, circus and panto characters, late night shopping, plus Santa will be dropping by to wish everyone a very ‘Merry Christmas’.
