Sinn Féin Councillor Éamonn Mac Con Midhe said the public needs to be made fully aware of new procedures in applying for an Irish passport that will limit the ways an application can be posted.

Applicants applying by post after this date will have to submit their applications via the passport express services offered by the Post Office.
