Change a child’s life and make a difference


Are you interested in making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people in the South Eastern HSC Trust and and Belfast HSC Trust areas ?

Come along to the ‘Til I Grow Up’ information event to hear the inspiring stories of Ryan, Ella, Alyan and Kamil, who are in need of loving long-term foster homes.

Ryan, a 6-year-old, finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. With a love for the outdoors, he enjoys riding his bike, scooting around and engaging in activities such as swimming and gymnastics.

is natural talent for sports shines through, promising endless opportunities for shared adventures.

13-year old Ella is a bundle of energy with an infectious laugh and a bubbly personality that lights up any room. She thrives on affection, adoring hugs and head massages. Quick-witted and possessing a great sense of humour, Ella’s presence brings joy wherever she goes.

Brothers Alyan, 9, and Kamil, 7, share a special bond and hope to find a forever home together.

Could you make a difference to a young life who needs a loving home ?

Alyan is a kind and sensitive soul who finds solace in nature, particularly enjoying walks where he can immerse himself in the rustle of leaves beneath his feet.

Kamil, with his brilliant smile that reflects in his eyes, is a curious explorer eager to experience all that life has to offer. His vocabulary grows with each passing day, a testament to his thirst for knowledge and discovery.

Encouraging those interested to come along to the event, South Eastern Trust Fostering Head of Service, Nuala Hanna said: “There are currently over 3000 children and young people who are reliant on foster care in Northern Ireland. Foster care provides children and young people who cannot live with their birth families with a safe and loving home where they feel valued, respected, and cared for.

“Every child deserves a stable home. 

“We would love to see as many people as possible come along to this event to discover how they can make a difference to a child’s life, to meet other foster carers & young people and hear about the process, support and training offered.”
