Castlewellan Victoria Development Group Say Thank You

Orange Members Gather Food Parcels For Needy.

On Saturday morning past, members of Castlewellan Victoria Development Association gathered at the Castlewellan Orange Hall to collect food parcels for distribution to its vulnerable / elderly members, widows and others within the local community as the Coronavirus impact lingers on.

An Association spokesperson said: ” We wish to express our appreciation to Nigel Hazzard and his staff at Castle Farm Fresh who supplied the excellent and quality fresh food parcels.

“To date there has been a great response, however, much more is needed as there are many in the community in need of assistance now and probably many more as time progresses.

Our best thanks also go to County Down Rural Community Network for their financial assistance and emergency response during the Covid-19 pandemic which is very much appreciated.
