Castlewellan High School Pupils raise Funds For Cancer Fund For Children

Rebecca Oates, fundraiser from the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, attended St Malachy’s High School in Castlewellan this week to receive a cheque for £831.50 from students and staff.

The funds were raised through the ReadOn 2016 Programme. Students had to read as many of their favourite books as possible over a period of seven days whilst raising money for NICFC.

Included in the photo are Ann-Marie Moran school librarian, Pauline Burgess Literacy co-ordinator and Donna McNulty Head of English.
