Adult Carers Celebrate end of Creative Pottery Programme

Adultxa0carersxa0from Downpatrick, Rowallane and Slieve Croob DEA’s were invited along to te Fired restaurant in Kilough for a celebratory event on Thursday 27 October.xa0

The event, which was attended by Newry Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson, Cllr Michael Savage, was organised to mark the end of a series ofxa0creativexa0potteryxa0sessions with Preaching Housexa0Pottery, which thexa0carersxa0had participated in.

The sessions were organised by the DEAs in partnership with the South Eastern Health and Socialxa0Carexa0Trust.

Adultxa0carersxa0were provided with an opportunity to have some time away from their caring role, engage with others, decompress and enjoy the satisfaction of producing a keepsake piece ofxa0pottery.
