‘The King and I ‘ musical will be performed later this year in Downpatrick in the Great Hall at the Downshire.

St Patrick’s Choral Society are looking for singers for their Easter production.[/caption]But…xa0 the St Patrick’s choral society are starting preparations for their Spring show of ‘The King and I‘ which will run from 25-28 March 2015. Rehearsals for this show will commence on Monday 12 January at 7.30pm in St Mary’s High School.
Auditions for principal roles will be held on Sunday 11 January in Downpatrick Parish Hall beside the Church of Ireland at 2pm.
There are two children’s principal roles for Louis and Prince Chulalunghorn. Children need to be Primary 7 and upwards. Anyone wishing to be in the chorus do not need to audition.
