Bryansford GACxa0 ‘Club Notes’ for week beginning Monday 8th August The Ladies drew with Bredagh in the Quarter Finals of the Senior Championship. The game went to extra time but the teams were still deadlocked at the end. Replay is on Wednesday 10th August. The Seniors show grit and great mental fortitude to overcome a very confident An Riocht team in the Championship. Comments from a number of neutrals who were at the game said, “…..that was the best game we’ve seen all year…”. Kalum King came in for praise for his high fielding which was the contributing factor in Bryansford’s victory. This Friday the teams meet again in the league. In their championship game the Minors lost out to Kilcoo. The ease with which they conceded early goals cost them dearly, despite a tremendous second half performance. The U-16’s were more successful when they played Kilcoo in the Championship. Other heart screening sessions are to be held on the 3rd and 4th of September 2011 at University of Ulster, Jordanstown. This is NOT being organised by the CLUB. PLEASE NOTE THE SCREENINGS ARE FOR 14 – 35 YEAR OLDS ONLY. www.mybookingcalendar.com/cry]]>
