Dundrum FC Requires Investment Says Patrick Brown MLA

Patrick Brown MLA last week met with members of Dundrum FC to discuss investment and improvements to their facilities.

Mr Brown said: “Dundrum FC is a vital part of the village’s community with so much potential. It was fantastic to meet with club members and representatives to discuss important steps to ensure that the club can continue to grow, as well as provide investment, economic benefits and jobs to the local area.

“I will continue to lobby Newry Mourne and Down District Council to carry out the promised resurfacing of the car park to ensure exciting facilities are up-to-date and reflect the potential of this location to be a hub for sport in the area.

“Also, I will be lobbying Council for the release of capital funding for a new pavilion to reflect the importance of the Dundrum club, as well as the surrounding area.

“Investing in the upgrading and providing new facilities will ensure Dundrum FC can continue to grow and succeed in coming years.”
