Bright GAC notes week commencing 13/10/2013

SATURDAY night saw the second Bright Strictly Come Dancing Semi Final whichxa0was yet another fantastic nights entertainment with a sellout out crowd in attendance writes Ciara Sharvin.xa0
All six couples should be proud of themselves, they pulled out some brilliant performances and even just having the guts to get on stage means you are deserving of endless praise. Congratulations to the three couples who got through to the final – Michelle Lavery and Ryan Mageean, Michael Rogan, and Chrissie McAleavy and Damien Tumelty and Oonagh Rowden. Well done guys and good luck in the final!
A date for your diary… the clubs annual general meeting (AGM) will take place on Monday 2 December at 7pm in Bright Community Hall, Ballynoe. It is vitally important that we have a large turnout for this to help ensure the future of our club. We need all the help we can get in all aspects of the club whether it be joining the committee or becoming a mentor, manager or coach. Many hands make light work so please come along and lend a hand in any way possible.
All new and old faces welcome.xa0The senior presentation night will take place on Saturday 23rd November in Millbrook Hotel. Tickets are £25 and this includes 3 course meal and entertainment. Tickets are available from any committee member.
The club are currently looking for a Manager for the Senior Mens Team for the 2014 season.
