The Under-14’s had a top of the table clash with Kilcliefxa0on Tuesdayxa0(28 May) and came away winning 5-11 to 4-12. The game was entertaining from start to finish.xa0Brightxa0struggled in the 1st half to cope with the height and strength of the midfield and the pace of half forwards. They went into the break down by 8 points. A couple of positional changes in the 2nd half seemed to givexa0Brightxa0a new believe so much so Kilclief only scored 1-02 in the half. John Burns, Marc Burke and Mateo Crispie (3) got the goals while Taylor Broggy, Kain Tierney, Daniel McMenamin, Sam Dinu and Curtis Ward chipped in with the points. Paul Tempany and Jude McCrissican also played well forxa0Bright. This was a tough game for the boys and they needed to step up to the mark and they duly obliged.
