Bright GAC Notes For 3 July 2016

Bright v Ardglass.

Bright dominated much of the game but came unstuck in the last 10 mins. Young Jack McLaughlin struck first with a superb goal writes Cyril McKinney.

Ardglass couldn’t match the runs of Corey Ranaghan and Decky Trainor from midfield. Francis McKiinney, Chris Byrne and Conor Black were rock solid in defence while Cormac McLaughlin and Rian Tempany worked hard on the flanks to attack Ardglass. Points from Tempany and goal and point from Ranaghan gave Bight a half time lead 2,3 0,8. Bright continued to dominate though Ardglass were still close enough and started to get on top in the last 10 mins.

A combination of bad luck and over carrying the ball gave the momentum to Brights neighbours. Ranaghan had to leave the field with a serious looking knee injury and from then the contest didn’t seem as important. Final score 2,5 1,16.
