writes Theresa Ranaghan. The Under-10’s took part in the Blitz in Dromara on Saturday which was well organised and again a big thank you to Dromara for their hospitality. There was a good turn out of players for the underxa010’s and they all played their part in three exciting matches. The Under-12’s beat Dundrum on Sunday. Again there was a good turn out of players for this game. John Burns; Kane Tierney; Jordon Rogan; Sean McKenna and Paul Tempany played well for Bright. There is training as usual on Wednesday night at 7pm. The U-16 Cillbreactain team were defeated by the RGU last week though there were opportunities to steal victory. Everyone played superbly though there were a few free kicks given to the RGU enabling them to stay ahead and then take the win. A special mention to Séan Cultra who unfortunately made an early exit when he dislocated his finger. At least the hospital was good and close! Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery. Lotto numbers this week are 4, 7, 22 and 26. No winners. Next weeks jackpot will be £1150 and the draw will take place at the Castle Inn, Ballynoe. Next committee meeting is July 7th at 7.30pm at the Bright Community Centre. Everyone to attend.]]>
