Now that there is a stretch in the evenings the ladies will be training at our own pitch in Ballynoe at 6pm sharp on Monday night.  The season will be starting in a few weeks so managers would like full committment from all girls.  Also please remember to bring £2.
Due to the adverse weather at the weekend the mens  first league match could not be played.  Hopefully this will be refixed soon.  Training schedule is availalbe on Bright Facebook page writes Ciara Sharvin.

Congratulations and well done to Ruairi Tumelty who played at half time in Croke Park during the Dublin v Down match, no doubt this appearance will be the start of many more to come for this promising young player.  Under 10 and 12 training is on Wednesday at 6pm on the pitch and Under 14 and 16 training on Monday and Wednesday at 6pm.

We are behind in our training due to the weather so it’s important that we get a good turn out. Both leagues starts in 2 weeks. Bring suitable training gear and drink.Training fee for both is £1.  Training for girls ages 11-14 yrs continues Thursday 6.30pm in Bright hall.  Also if any under 18 girls interested in forming a minor team please contact Aimee Tumelty or Michelle Lavery.

There has been a play arranged to run in the Great Hall at Downshire Hospital on 27-28 April at 8pm, part proceeds will go towards the club. The play is written by Viv Brennan and is called “No Hope Here”.It’s a hilarious Ulster Comedy. Come along and have a good old laugh. Ticket prices are £10 and £8 for u16s/Over 60s. Contact any committee member to book.
There are two upcoming events in the club.

On Friday 10 May our annual Bright Day at the Races will be held at Downpatrick Racecourse. This is always a great day’s craic and if the lucks in maybe a profitable one too.  Details of tickets to follow.  Also on Saturday 13 July sees the return of the Hypnotist in the hall.  All those that attended this fabulous nights entertainment last year will know this is not to be missed! ticket prices and release dates will follow soon.

Some places have become available for the 200 Club, if interested please contact Marty Tumelty or any committee member.  Remember, if you’re not in you can’t win.

Date for your social diary.  The Annual Angela McCartan Lourdes Appeal will be held on Saturday 30 March in Castle Inn, Ballynoe.  Please come along and show your support for this worthy cause.

Any players who have not yet paid membership are urged to do so ASAP.  The deadline has now passed.  Please see any committee member.  Prices are as follows
Family – £70 (two non playing parents plus 2 under 18s either playing or not)
65 & over – £20
Juvenille – £15 (under 18)
Student – £25 (must be fulltime & student card must be shown)
Adult player – £50
Non playing Adult – £30

Lotto results from 18 March  were 13, 15, 20, 24 there were no winners.  Lotto results for 24 March were 1, 18, 19, 27, and there were no winners.  Jackpot now stands at £4800 and draw will be held in Anchor Bar, Killough.
