Bright GAC Notes

Gabriel Tumelty a speedy recovery after he suddenly took ill on Sunday night whilst refereeing a Senior Championship match. We would like to pass on our sincere thanks to Mrs Rodgers for her immediate intervention, the medical teams of both Longstone and Burren, the doctor from the crowd and the staff at Pairc Esler for their brilliant work in helping Gabriel recover. The Senior team had a good win against Newry Mitchels in their championship match last week. The half back line of BJ McMenamin (0-06), Tommy and Kieran Fitzsimons put in a solid performance. Pearse Mccarthy (0-04) had a great game in attack along with Conor McAllister (0-02), Aidy Sharvin (0-01) and Darryl Dobbin. Nicky O’Connor and Seamas Tumelty were strong in the middle while Michael pulled off couple of good saves. Final score was 13 points versus 11. Next game away to Ballykinlar on Friday night. * xa0Lotto numbers this week are 4, 8, 21 and 23. One £50 winner with three numbers, next week’s jackpot will be £1400 and the draw will take place at Grants Bar. * Bingo every Sunday night at Bright Community Hall.]]>
