Bradley Asks DfI Minister To Progress Narrow Water Bridge

Bradley welcomes Minister’s action on Narrow Water Bridge.

SDLP South Down MLA Sinead Bradley MLA has welcomed confirmation from Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon that officials have been asked to bring forward proposals to advance Narrow Water Bridge.

Sinead Bradley MLA said: “Narrow Water Bridge is an important cross-border infrastructure project that will bring economic and environmental benefits to people in South Down and in County Louth.

“I have made representations to Nichola Mallon since she became Infrastructure Minister and this remains a priority for us.

“I’m delighted that the Minister has confirmed that she has instructed officials to bring forward proposals to advance Narrow Water Bridge, recognising the importance of the project and the commitment in New Decade, New Approach to deliver for the people of South Down. 

“The SDLP will do whatever we can to deliver on the potential of this project.”
