Bethany Firth Awarded To Sports Prize

David Lapin from Linwoods, sponsors of this year’s Belfast Telegraph Northern Ireland Sports Awards, was delighted to present Bethany Firth with thexa0YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2012xa0for her outstanding performance at the 2012 Paralympics.

Competing for Ireland in the S14 100 metres backstroke, Bethany came up with the swim of her life to finish first with a personal best time.xa0 Committed, determined and a Paralympian champion, the young Co. Down Seaforde woman has had a memorable year and that is whyxa0she was awarded the Young Player of the Year for 2012.
