Ballynahinch RFC Rugby Round-Up For 9 November 2019

Club Notes.

The Crawford Cup proved to be a headache for selectors and captains last weekend with three teams involved and therefore as many as fifty players becoming cup tied for the next round writes James Kirk.

The fourths relinquished their hold on the cup at the first defence with a heavy loss at Dromore while the fifths game against a strong-looking Instonians 2nds fell victim to the weather. It was left to Andy Simpson and his thirds to carry the flag for Ballynahinch and they booked a slot in the draw for the next round with a 40-0 victory over Queens thirds at home.

Ballynahinch Women travelled to Dungannon on Sunday and despite a more cohesive performance, they went down to a 29-12 defeat.
