Ballynahinch RFC 1st XV had a rest weekend, but are back at the ‘coalface’ this weekend as they travel to take on play-off rivals Naas RFC writes Richard Hart.xa0
Ballynahinch 2’s River Rock Towns Cup Quarter Final match against Carrick RFC was postponed due to allegedly waterlogged pitches.
Ballynahinch 3’s, 4’s and the Evergreens were free.
Ballynahinch 5’s travelled away to Cooke 2’s, roundly beating the Belfast side 40-0.
Ballynahinch 6’s hosted Ballymoney 3’s, besting the Antrim visitors 55 -19
Ballynahinch RFC U-14’s made the long journey to Letterkenny RFC to play their U-14’s in the league play-off, coming away after a hard match with the league leaders only losing by 3-0.

Mini Rugby continues at Ballynahinch RFC and is held each Saturday morning from 9.30-11am. Ballynahinch RFC caters for boys and girls who have started in P1 up to Yr8 (U-12s), with training running for each age group in school years – P1 to P7 + Yr8s. This week sees Ballynahinch RFC 1st XV travel to Naas RFC in the next round of the UBL. A large travelling support is also expected to travel to Carrickfergus as Ballynahinch 2s head to Tom Simms Memorial Park to play Carrick RFC in the postponed quarter final of the River Rock Towns Cup.
