Police Are Appealing For Information Following A Ballynahinch Burglary

Detectives in Ballynahinch are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of a burglary on Sunday afternoon, November 13th.

Detective Constable Slevin said: “Police received a report at 3pm that a burglary had taken place at a property on the Saintfield Road.

“Two men entered the house via the kitchen door demanding keys to a safe within the house.

“A number of items were taken including two mobile phones and a set of car keys.

 “One of the suspects is described as wearing dark coloured trousers, dark coloured trainers and a dark coloured, grey hooded top.

“Both of the suspects are described as being of tall, slim build and both were wearing latex gloves. It is believed a dark coloured vehicle may have been involved and left in the direction of Saintfield.

“Our investigation is underway and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time the burglary took place or who may have captured dashcam footage that can assist us to contact 101 quoting reference number 1112 13/11/22.”
