Ballynahinch Burglary Appeal By Police

Home on Crossgar Road Near Ballynahinch Burgled

Police investigating a report of a burglary at a house in the Crossgar Road area of Ballynahinchxa0are appealing for witnesses.xa0

The burglary was reported on Tuesday 23rd August, however, it may have occurred sometime over the previous seven days.

Sergeant Cree said: “The householders returned from holiday toxa0discover that theirxa0home had been broken into and a number of items stolen.

“We believe the burglaryxa0occurred sometimexa0between Tuesday, 16th August and Tuesday, 23rd August and are keen to speak to anyone who noticed anything suspicious or out of the ordinaryxa0in the Crossgar Road area during that timexa0framexa0to get in touch.xa0

“A number of items are reported to have been taken including a mobile phone, laptop, a games console and power tools.

“If you arexa0offered items for sale in suspicious circumstances, similar to those reported stolen,xa0contactxa0us onxa0101, quoting reference number 340 23/08/22.”
