Ballyholme Beach Fracas Leads To Three Being Charged

Police charge three 16-year olds following incident at Ballyholme Beach

A police spokesperson said that police investigating a report of a large altercation on Ballyholme beach on Friday 11thxa0April, have charged three 16 year old males.

All three have been charged with a number of offences including affray, common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

They are due to appear at Newtownards Youth Court on Tuesday 20th May. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing and police continue to appeal for information and would ask anyone who might be able to assist, to contact 101 quoting reference number 1806 11/04/25.
