Ballygowan Play Area To Get £25K Facelift

A Ballygowan play area is to get a £25,ooo facelift.

Ards Borough Council has agreed to refurbish the play equipment and safety surfacing at the Dickson Park playground in the village.

“Dickson Park has been in need of some attention to modernise the facility and ensure health and safety standards are maintained. I’m pleased this work will now be undertaken,” said Councillor Robert Adair, who is the Council’s Play Champion and also Chairman of the Council Services Committee.

The work is expected to start in July.
