Ballygowan Man Appointed Marketing Director By Leading NI Drinks Supplier

Brian Beattie, from Ballygowan, has been appointed All-Ireland Marketing Director for leading Northern Ireland drinks company Tennent’s NI, part of the C&C Group.

After gaining a degree in Business and French from Queen’s University, Belfast, Brian launched his marketing career at Weetabix and Arla Foods working on the Weetabix, Lurpak and Cravendale brands, before taking up the post of Head of Marketing with Dale Farm. He now brings 15 years’ experience in marketing to his role with Tennent’s NI where he is responsible for marketing C&C Group brands Magners, Bulmers, Tennent’s, Clonmel 1650, Heverlee, Finches soft drinks and Tipperary Water.

Brian said: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to work at director level at Tennent’s NI, bringing my marketing skills and knowledge into a dynamic and challenging business sector and, in particular, into a company which is internationally known and respected for its innovation.”

Outside work, Brian is a keen traveller and linguist who enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
