Assumption Pupils Make Huge Effort For Refugees

This week, Assumption Grammar School pupils Aileen Gallagher and Orlaith Clinton have raised £400 in school for the recent Refugee Crisis.

They have as gathered boxes of clothes, toiletries etc to the Crossgar refugee aid drop-off point.

Aid has been streaming in from all quarters across the district and the Calais Refugees campaigners who appealed for warm clothes, shoes, tents etc have been successful in their overall aim to gather essential items for the refugees stuck in the French port of Calais.
