In the second game away to Atticall on Easter Sunday the game was nip and tuck throughout, only for the Mourne side to score two sucker punch goals that proved the difference on the day. Next game home to Carryduff on Thursday 28th @ 7pm
Ardtole hosted its first ever U-8 blitz on Easter Saturday, with Ballykinlar and Teconnaught the guests of the host team.Over the two hours there was some fine skills of the game demonstrated by all three sides. A special thanks to Marieanne, Gemma and Tina in helping providing the pre match food and treats, and also with the big clean up.

As the numbers increase week on week for the Under-8’s, Paul and DJ require more help with coaching the kids, if anyone has a spare hour on Saturday morning please let us know.

Second half-substitute Jamie Cusack scored 0-4 from play while his cousin Ronan Crangle popped up from the half-back line to score the winner. While Harry Og Walsh could have sealed the victory with a pile driver from 20 yards which the keeper pushed on the crossbar.
This was an overall good team performance, with Luke Mulhall steady in goals and varying his kickouts to great success, while in defence Darren Ross, Ronan Crangle and Jason Curran displayed skill and athleticism while attacking and defending in equal measure.
