Ardglass GAC Volunteers Respond To Covid-19 Crisis

Ardglass GAC has set up a group of volunteers to help meet the needs of people in the local community who have isolated because of Covid-19 and who need help.

Paul O’Shea said: “Our volunteers are on standby to assist those in isolation. The support will be on a person by person basis the meet people’s needs:

  • with regular phone support.
  • getting groceries etc for you including prescriptions.
  • walking your dog.
  • supplying essential food parcels if you are housebound.
  • and anything else – a plan can be put in place.
