Golf Classic 22^nd July 2011 Golf Classic will be held on Friday 22^nd July £120.00 per Four ball to include Golf, meal and goodie bag, This event is nearly booked out so please ensure you secure Tee time ASAP, further details from Paul Savage 07793405146 //Paul O’Shea 07938915183//Willie Milligan 07745476979 & 02844841819 Games Update Things are quiet on the games front this weather due to the July Break, the Seniors will attempt to retain the Connolly Cup over the break and play the hosts on Tuesday 12^th July @ 7.30pm in Ballykinlar, £3 admission or Tournament Ticket £10 which covers all games except xa0the final The U-14’s played two games last week before the break as their Jekell and Hyde performances continued. On Monday away to Castlewellan they started slowly as The Town opened up a large lead despite the efforts of keeper Matthew Kennedy, the second half did not see much improvement with the home side easing to a large victory. However on Friday evening away to Bright they put in a sterling performance to storm into a 5-5 to 0-5 lead at the break with every player contributing to the teamwork ethic which resulted in some stylish attacking football aligned to a strong defensive effort. The second half saw a mini revival by the Bright boys, however , a barrage of late goals from Ardglass ended the game as a contest. Over the two games, Cavan Flynn, Conor Kearney and Ronan Crangle impressed in defence, while against Bright’s Callum Costello dominated his midfield opponents for 60 minutes.
