On Monday away to Castlewellan they started slowly as The Town opened up a large lead despite the efforts of keeper Matthew Kennedy, the second half did not see much improvement with the home side easing to a large victory. However on Friday evening away to Bright they put in a sterling performance to storm into a 5-5 to 0-5 lead at the break with every player contributing to the teamwork ethic which resulted in some stylish attacking football aligned to a strong defensive effort. The second half saw a mini revival by the Bright boys, however , a barrage of late goals from Ardglass ended the game as a contest. Over the two games, Cavan Flynn, Conor Kearney and Ronan Crangle impressed in defence, while against Bright’s Callum Costello dominated his midfield opponents for 60 minutes.
