Anyone still requiring forms please contact Paul O’Shea 07938915183 Games Updates Ardglass 4-10 Mitchells 0-7 The seniors defeated Mitchells with a good display of fast counter attacking football with Goals from Mick Magee, Neill Taggert, Liam Mullan and Eoin Curran, will further goals could have been scored if it was not for the crossbar being struck three times also. In defence David Pullan and Richie Fitzpatrick were solid and John Polley and James Telford at Midfield ensured the forwards had plenty of quality ball to add a good tally to the scoreboard. Ardglass led from the start and raced into a seven-point lead. The Point chipped away at the scoreboard to leave it 0-9 to 1-4 at the break. After half Ardglass surged ahead again only for the blues to peg Ardglass back and take a 2 point lead as the final minutes approached. In a dramatic last few minutes the lead changed on several occasions, Dee Milligan scored an opportunistic goal and a fine point to give Ardglass a 2 point lead, however Warrenpoint struck back with a goal and 2 points in injury time to snatch victory. The Under 14’s lost at home to Loughinisland after a great start from Ardglass the visitors finished stronger to run out winners, Darren Ross had a steady game in nets while Ronan Crangle and Padraig Mcgirr had fine games in defence. The Under 12’s lost to a fast and skilful team from the Fin on Sunday Morning with great scores from Stewart Kahla and Mary Kearney the highlight of the day The under 8’s also played The Fin and had one of there best performances of the season, with a second half penalty from Conor Morrison ensuring Ardglass secured a one point win, there where fine performances from Abbey Byrne and Dylan Addis.
