Alliance Councillor Patrick Clarke has welcomed the repair and replacement of a number of defective street lights in Commedagh Park Castlewellan.
Councillor Clarke raised the matter with Street Ligthing Division and added:xa0“There had been a number of defective street lights in Commedagh Park Castlewellan which residents had reported to me being out of order for some considerable period of time.
“Following representations to Street Lighting Division of Roads Service the defective street lights were quickly repaired.
“I have also asked the Street Lighting Division to carry out any maintenance of the remaining street lights before the winter months which will be carried out shortly.”
