Hallowtides Flashback 2: A Warty Witch In Newcastle

Newcastle 2010 saw a proliferation of warty, wizzened, wicked witches flocking to the seaside town on their broomsticks.

The Hallowtides Festival was a roaring success form its beginning with many local people businesses and organisations getting imaginatively involved.

The Newcastle Hallowtides is the place to be at Halloween with lots of entertainments, a childrens’ fancy dress ball, and a spectacular parade… but sadly it was all knocked on the head this year due to the Covid-19 regulations.

There were plenty of warty-nosed witches in Newcastle during the Hallowtides Festival in Newcastle in 2010.
