Newry Larder Soup Kitchen Calls For Food Donations

A Newry soup kitchen run by local community group Newry Helping the Homeless has called on the public for food donations at this very difficult time.

Speaking on the issue Thomas McKeown said:“We are expecting a high demand of people to use the facility as family members who lose their jobs because of the Covid 19 outbreak along with the regular, frequent users of the Larder.

”If anyone would like to donate you can drop them your pack off at 3-6 St Mary Street above the Mix Market across from Louis Boyd’s.”
